Explained

In the recent past we came across a number of clients who were very keen to get a Food Brand Developed. Presumably because they assumed that the returns are very high on such investment. However, when we started talking to them we realized that their understanding of Brand Development is limited to just a logo design and a run of the mill product. Unfortunately that is not the case at all. A lot of brain storming, hard work and financial investment goes into brand development. Being the branding agency, our job is to create a Brand out of the product that a client brings to us. Interestingly, when we share with them the concept and the required budgetary provisions they get so amazed as to why so much is being charged to develop a brand which according to them is nothing more than a logo design (which they believe can be downloaded form the net).

No doubt, everyone is free to believe what they wish to but then they cannot expect high return on their investment as they see around in the market.

Here we are making an effort to explain visually what Brand Development is all about - and this just the beginning and obviously only a glimpse.

Name &
LOGO DESIGN
In most of the cases, we need to suggest a name before the logo part comes in, unless the client has already decided. Ideally, we prefer to suggest the name ourselves because there are no points for second place while deciding the name. This followed by the logo design.

Logo design is not only the face of the brand but also sets the parameters for color pallet and the “BIG IDEA” behind the brand philosophy.

As you can see, the approved logo is then extended for Logo Adaptations. In certain cases, there are more than one adaptation but that depends on the logo design and its required application

Position &
Tag Line
If the brand development is taken up the right way, then brands start talking to their target market. This requires attention to every minute detail. Each brand needs a position line and a tag line. This is actually giving words to the BIG IDEA on which the brand stands and extends.
